Meet Dr. Julia Feudo, Pediatrician

Dr. Julia Feudo is an experienced pediatrician who very much values working with children. "When I was in medical school I thought I was going to be a family practice physician, but I found that I really enjoyed learning about child development and family interactions," she explains. "So, I decided to become a pediatrician. I'm glad and I'm grateful that I made that choice."

As well as being a pediatrician, Dr. Feudo is also the mother of four children. This helps her in caring for other people's children each day. "Being a mother helps me relate to the issues that children and their families face every day because I've experienced many of the same challenges and joys with my children."

According to Dr. Feudo, advances in medicine have helped prevent many diseases that were once common in children, such as meningitis, but other problems have taken their place. "Even though medicine has become more advanced, there are many serious health issues today's children and teens encounter because of poor nutritional habits and lack of exercise. As a pediatrician, I try to emphasize that each family needs to lead a healthy lifestyle in order to maintain good health for their children."

Dr. Feudo enjoys practicing at Reliant Medical Group, especially given all the resources it has to offer. "Reliant Medical Group is a very collegial environment. I enjoy having so many talented colleagues on whom I can depend. It makes practicing medicine more effective and more enjoyable."
When she has free time away from the Clinic, Dr. Feudo enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband, their four daughters, two dogs, and two cats. She also enjoys gardening around their home.
